Inquiry & School Visits

We encourage interested families to experience MTCA firsthand. During the inquiry process, parents and students have opportunities to:

  • Receive informational materials about our school and programs
  • Meet and speak with current MTCA parents
  • Tour the school and observe classrooms in session
  • Schedule a student shadow day for your child

Tours are available at your convenience, and we are happy to answer questions and help you discern whether MTCA is the right fit for your family.

Application & Registration Process

To begin the registration process, families should contact the MTCA office at (708) 672-3093. Our staff will guide you through the application steps and provide all necessary forms and information.

New applicants are accepted after in-house registration for current MTCA families is completed. This process allows us to confirm class sizes and ensure a balanced learning environment in each grade.

A Catholic education is a lasting investment in your child’s future. At Mother Teresa Catholic Academy, we work diligently to make this investment accessible to as many families as possible. Annual tuition for the 2026-2027 school year is $5,584 with discounted rates available for families with multiple children. Tuition is supported through a combination of parish subsidy, fundraising, donations, and tuition revenue.

Tuition Assistance

Approximately 50% of MTCA families receive some form of tuition assistance. Many are surprised to learn that a high-quality Catholic education may be more affordable than expected.

How to Apply

To apply for tuition assistance or scholarships, families must create a FACTS account. Visit online.factsmgt.com/signin.aspx to get started.

MTCA Transfer Grant

Families transferring from a non-Catholic school to MTCA are eligible for an automatic tuition credit of $1,000 in the first year of enrollment and $500 in the second year of enrollment.

St. Liborius & St. Boniface Parishioner Scholarship

Families who are registered and active parishioners at St. Liborius Parish (Steger) or St. Boniface Church (Monee) may apply for a $1,000 per child, per year scholarship. Deadline is June 1, 2026. To apply, email Fr. Thomas Milota.

Catholic Education Foundation (CEF) Scholarship

Mother Teresa Catholic Academy is a proud member school of the Diocese of Joliet, making our students eligible for significant scholarships through the Catholic Education Foundation (CEF).

Application Deadline: April 1, 2026

Available scholarships include:

  • General Scholarships – up to $2,000 per child

  • CEF Invest in Kids Grant – up to $1,000 per child

  • CEF Restricted Parent Scholarship – up to $2,000 per child

  • Halasz Memorial Scholarship – up to $1,000 per child

  • Archbishop Sartain Scholarship – up to $1,000 per child

  • CEF Hispanic Initiative Scholarship for MTCA – up to $1,500 per child

Students may receive multiple scholarships in the same academic year, depending on eligibility.

CEF scholarships are awarded based on financial need, family circumstances, and other qualifying factors. Once a family applies through CEF, MTCA may also be able to offer additional assistance.
